Try calling different dental appliances provider and see if you can get one shipped. You would need teeth models though, which could cost over 200$

The lower jaw goes where the upper jaw wants! Remember that.

Thank you Ian for sharing that wonderful story. May I ask how your scoliosis and brain fog are doing now? Have you had any x-rays post treatment?

Hello Connor, did you have extraction orthodontics before? I'd also like to know if you've had your palate expanded. The open bite thing is very interesting. Please keep us updated.

In fact, Dr. Amir is still practicing in Putney, London and has been a big help to the MS sufferers.

Very good to hear! Did you also order the finger cots online? Make sure it's the right size/length as those I bought we're a bit shorter than what I needed to get to the 'open space' behind the turbinates

I have. The provider is a very friendly german woman. She sells at least two types of orthodontic equipment. One is a mouthguard (jaw shaper) which helps realign/broaden the dental arch by chewing. The other is a german style applience with manual screws. I tried both but didn't use them for too long since the jaw shaper hurt my gums and the pallate expander further misaligned my teeth.

My teeth where seriously f-ed up. I'm currently undergoing expansion with an ALF-orthodontist and I'm happy so far (I have upper and lower ALFs' aswell as bracers). I'm tracking my progress with photos and I still have 12 months to go.

I imagine that face pulling and self NCR are a whole different story than aligning teeth. If your only concern is widening of the palate/dental arch I'd say go for it. Unless your mouth also looks like a stack of matches on a crooked string. For me, my TMD got excabarated through self-treatment which ultimatly was a good thing since it forced me to get real help.

Do you know how you've come around to exacerbate your TMD?
Other than the one provided by Gaia, do you have any other website(s) that sell them palatal expanders? It seems people in Europe are much more aware of these kind of things.

Hello Dr. Mew, very glad and surprised to see you here. Your open-mindedness really makes me feel better about the medecine community.
I have no idea how Dr. Howell's FaceMax Helmet works but I suppose it's very similar to the one designed by Dr. Amir (Located in Putney, London). Also worth noting is that Dr. Amir is also working with Dr. Howell for optimizing symmetry in his patients.

Here is someone going through face-pulling and NCR and sharing their experience on a blog : http://orgoneproducts.org/blog/category/palate-expansion/

Hello beautiful people! Just a quick question. Do you guys think I should face-pull with my permanent, bonded retainers still on the back of my teeth (upper 4 and lower 6)?

It's a really nice feeling, glad you feel like that. I used to feel like that, all the time. Until my orthodontics **** me up. Now I'm here to claim what was always mine.
