@Paff WHAT are you talking about?

1) There AREN'T many active people on this forum. Actually, thus forum JUST started to pick up with newer people like a month or 2 ago.

2) You obviously haven't seen Tyler or Racheal (hope I got her name right) and their pictures.

3) There are before and after photos of Iam Hedley on this forum as well as on Platos site.

4) If you go to Plato's website you will find before and after pictures of him as well.... He even has profile shots if his X Ray pictures.

Please don't go on a rant if you've barely done any research. I understand your frustration but come on man, that first comment was quite ridiculous.

Ben, have you expanded your palate? It looks like you should DEF. go for fave pulling! I think it'll make things perfect for you man. That's like literally your last step IMO.

I've had braces for 5 years and got them age 16. I have a pushed back mandible, narrow top and bottom dental arches, and I have proper tounge posture (I've had proper tounge posture since God knows when)

I seriously think that it works both ways... If you undergo FP, NCR, Palate Exoansion without proper tounge posture, you will not receive optimal results. Now, in my case, I feel like since my tounge posture is good everything should go great and I shall receive the best results possible since tounge posture seems to be extremely important. I don't really think that you can get around your entire problem if you're not addressing EVERYTHING. Practicing proper tounge posture without fixing a narrow top or bottom arch will just leave you disappointed & vice versa.

CP: Did you expand your bottom arch considerably width wise?

If you have a narrow dental arch you are not going to get the results you want.

Gala: You said you were seeing results and have expanded 1mm per month, 4.5mm in total. Now you say you're not seeing any results? Please make up your mind.

PS: Schwarz appliance is NOT the same as DNA appliance =] Very different.

Dr.Mew, with all due respect, you sound too "traditional orthodontics" based. It's almost as if you have a "protective shield" up to protect you from this new up and coming approach that completely disagrees with traditional orthodontics. If you (or any other Dr. for that matter) is still going by the traditional orthodontics guidebooks then you are just going to go around in circles FOREVER! I'm not accusing you of being stuck on the "old way of thinking", I'm just saying that it kind of sounds like you have a certain "guard" up & that you also have many doubts about this type of stuff.

By the way, you said most skulls you have seen were fused? Have you ever had some of your direct patients undergo palate expansion the "new age" way?

In my opinion, traditional orthodontics and all that it stands for is flawed, period. There are some great case studies & papers out there on adult palate expansion (even blog posters that provide pictures) and some anecdotal evidence of adults claiming they've expanded more than 5-10mm/changed their face shape for the better ie:higher/wider cheekbones, stronger chin/jaw, broader smile, better lip support etc. You can even see thatwe have people reporting positive results in the "skeptical inquiry blog" from the DNA appliance. There are positive results EVERYWHERE.

Also, everytime somebody posts a positive review on a site endorsed by traditional orthodontists they get shut down by the moderators... Ironic huh? Lol. It's an honor to have you hear though Dr.Mew.... Hope you don't take this the wrong way.

I've heard complaints from people using that device & so I was just trying to help. If you feel like you are doing wonderful following your current regime, then I'll just leave it at that, perfectly fine with me.  ;)

I will say this though...

1) According to Tyler's profile he is 23, not 18. <=== Very important.

2) Palatal expansion barely had any "supporting evidence" either just a couple years back.... There is enough anecdotal evidence on the web about FacePulling (from very reputable people by the way) to just call it a "theory", but this is simply just my opinion. IMO there MUST be SOMETHING "appealing" about this FacePulling stuff if you've got 10 positive results being replicated in nearly every person that undergoes this "face pulling treatment" after a couple months- 1 year+, 2) if you've got doctors wondering it/creating their "own" FacePulling device, patenting it and adding it to their practice (Dr.Dean Howell, & if you've got NCR doctors themselves obtaining great results from it.

Hi guys, it's been a WHILE since I've come back on here (Tyler I still have to get back at your responses man!) I'll be back soon... I've been pretty busy lately & I've finally found time to cool down & chill. Anyways, I just wanted to address the comment above by saying that Tyler is 23 (says it on its profile) so I don't where you got "18" from. Also, there have been people somewhat older than you (you're still fairly young) expand their palates 5-10+mm & see pretty good results. http://www.archwired.com/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=38460&sid=c36140dff602e9434380e594b963313f

I honestly think that, if you want to see GOOD results, you will have to ditch the self NCR & that palate expander you're currently using. It really sounds like you need professional help (DNA appliance provider + NCR/facemax practitioner. Trust me, it'll be be worth the money.

I will talk to you guys very soon & Tyler I did NOT forget about you!

PS: He seems to look great I'm his other pic though & he really doesn't look half bad on the pic with the wrinkles... I really think he just needs a violet ray and some Emu oil... Maybe some Dermarolling too.. I am certain  that he'll reduce/eliminate those wrinkles in no time with the things I listed on this reply.. OR maybe he needs to do some facial exercises like Tyler is doing? He has to kind of "tone" the new muscle that he has built thought his journey....  Just speculating though. But I'm 110% sure he will dramatically reduce, if not eliminate those wrinkles.

Anyways, his "new" facial structure outweighs the wrinkles by a long shot. I don't think these therapies caused that those wrinkles to form at all. My question though is: why haven't these wrinkles been eliminated after undergoing these therapies for quite a while now? When did he start his journey?

Hmmmm I just noticed those lines too... Def. not the lighting in this case.... His hair line also looks to be receding a bit =\ My greatest fear is that once I undergo a few of these therapies my head will start to get even bigger than what it is now (it's pretty big & KIND of weird shaped) and being that the cause of baldness for the vast majority of cases is a tight scalp (Galea) increasing your headsize can possible contribute to baldness (although this is completely preventable and easy to reverse via massage) The muscles surrounding the Galea tighten up and pull on the Galea which in turn causes a blood disruption to the follicles aroun the Galea region (that's why us mem bald on the sides and back of our heads... But like I said before, if you keep the muscles surrounding the Galea loose, you will not be affected.

Anyways, I've always wondered, wouldn't therapies like these prevent most of our muscles from tightening up since our bones will be optimally realigned to their original positions? I mean, stress does always tend to cause muscle construction regardless, & some people tend to experience muscle constriction in CERTAIN muscles only when something like stress or a panick attack is induced, but maybe NCR, FP, and palate expansion can make it so that the muscle constriction experienced while undergoing things like anxiety & stress can be reduced to a minimum or possibly dissipate once you obtain optimal posture? I've also heard that NCR & FP have the potential to help eliminate stress & anxiety which to can help prevent tightness as well... What do you guys think? Sorry for my rant LOL just a bit concerned now =\

I heard that patient zero's results were obtained from doing lots of NCR and of course face pulling. But Plato really put some emphasis on NCR, not palate expansion. Did he do palate expansion too? With what and how long?

Also, Tyler, I noticed that your face looks shorter and more expanded (which ties in with the study that I posted on my last reply) but I have a concern/request. I noticed that you sport different hairstyles in some of your pics and I was just wondering if you could maybe post a few pics of your head positioned as straight & certained as possible & with your hair NOT converting your forehead. Hairstyles can really give people tje illusion of a facial shape change, and although I doubt that this is the case with you, I would highly appreciate if you can manage to take and post pics the way I'm requesting you to. IF YOU DON'T MIND OF COURSE.

Also, do you have some old profile pics you can compare with your previous ones? Just to see how much your face grew "outwards" because it looks as if it did.

Thanks!

No worries, Tyler. I understand your point, too. You rather "play it safe" rather than risk being wrong.. It's cool man, random thoughts are what build this world after all. For a person that thinks most of his posts we're consisted of BS, you're pretty damn accurate haha! A majority of stuff that you used to write about on here fit perfectly with my research man, that's why I was so disappointed when you labeled that stuff as "New Age BS". I also would like to apologize on my behalf as well, I personally hate the words "quack" and "New Age BS" usually because of where those words initially come from (quackwatch.com & all other sites that are sponsored to bash all alternative therapies in order to keep big Pharma companies alive)

Man, your progress seems impressive bro, especially since you haven't been at it as much as you should be... Kinda makes me think how much more progress you have made if you were to stay on it a bit more. I noticed that, besides the more prominent cheekbones, you're developing that "chiseled square jaw look", something that I truly desire! Your face also appears to be more symmetrical(?) like your septum is more in place or something... One other thing I wanted to note, your masseter muscles seem to be getting bigger? I know your face has in fact "expanded" but you have that chiseled look around the masseter area... Hard to explain, hopefully you understand me lol. But in terms of these masseter muscles seeming bigger: First of all, do you agree that they are increasing in size? & if so, do you think face pulling & NCR did this for you, or do you think/give credit to the facial exercises? I ask because I've seen studies suggesting that kids who wear braces for a certain period of time develop less masticatory muscles (which ties in with all of the NCR, face pulling, Dr. Weston Prices' theories) Also, I have seen this study too http://www.jaypeejournals.com/eJournals/ShowText.aspx?ID=3486&Type=FREE&TYP=TOP&IN=_eJournals/images/JPLOGO.gif&IID=274&isPDF=YES

What do you think? It would make sense that new/remodeled bone would cause new muscles to form, right? I've noticed that close to all actors have prominent masseter muscles which gives them that "chiseled look" What would be your take on this, Tyler?

PS: Has your face grown more outward? Like does your chin/jaw look less recessed from the front/sides? I can't really tell since some of your pics have different lighting. Thanks man!

PS: Yes I would love to know about your success with facial exercises... I have been looking into them for a whike now. It's kind of exciting to actually speak to a person performing them! I've seen some stuff by Tom Haggerty and some woman there... (forgot her name) but they both look great! In case you don't know who he is, Haggerty is about 70-80 something years old and he looks like he is in his early 30's in my opinion. But yea, get back to me when you can.

Hey guys,

First of I want to apologize for saying what I said about Ben... My phone did not load up all of the pictures completely... Once I saw the last pic of him I was surprised... Lots of improvement and his nose looks a lot straighter compared to before, although I wish the lighting was a bit better on his last pick. I salute you Ben!! I bet your progress is through the roof now... Please update Budyy!

@Tyler wow man you look great... But what caught  my attention was you bashing all of the "theories" you posted on this site. Why do you feel they are BS? I believe in the same stuff you've been posting before this post & I've been seeing scientific evidence that confirms/validates this stuff. That's a big thumbs down from me bro... We are all energetic beings & everything is every... We even control matter with perception. Idk what  gave you that change of heart but, the whole energy/beliefs control your life stuff IS ALL TRUE. We are now in an ERA where science/quantum physics is proving the "ancient gurus" right. You should check out Dr. Dean Radin's research out...

Anyways Tyler & Ben you both look great! BTW Tyker, please expect an email from me very soon!
