wow this is encouraging
the differences i see are subtle but still significant
one of the most reliable markers of maxilla movement i've found is the eyelid
in your second pic the eyelid is one solid line, whereas the first has a couple of folds toward the nose
this suggest the skin here is stretched tighter than on the outside of your eyes (which makes sense with a long maxilla)
also as the face gets shorter the eyebrows move closer to the eyes and appear a bit 'flatter' (the arches become less noticeable)
if you don't mind me asking, how old are you? and is your technique just pressing the tongue against the roof of your mouth?
