Hi all, does anyone know any similar alternatives to bracesshop to order an alf appliance, they do not seem to have them available there.
Cheers.

I checked out that link to that forum as well, that guy looks pretty strange, also the jist of the thread is that he won't post any photos of his face that match the position of his face in the original before photo, he keeps doing this weird pouty smile face that obviously excentuates his check bones, some people are even saying that he may have acromegaly which is a disorder of the pituitary gland that causes the bones of the body to grow larger than normal resulting in a bigger head ect. my own personal interest in these things is more from a general wellbeing viewpoint better flow of cerebrospinal fluid better posture better spinal health more balanced body clearer mind ect, I find all the cosmetic stuff kind of depressing, striving for that perfect face is a fools game in my opinion.

Hi there a8b9, this doesn't relate to your post specifically but there is tons of really interesting info about ortho Invisalign, the alf, dentists in general ect at

https://curedystonia.wordpress.com

It's mainly focussed on the use of a dental splint to rebalance the body in the same way as the starecta method, but there is lots of interesting info.

I think it could be beneficial to do ncr as well as your current ortho, I'm not sure about face pulling though.

Cheers, james

Hi Improvement, great thanks for the info about stacking the cots, that clears that up, a day of rest between treatments that makes sense I think I must of skipped over that suggestion, definitely is the kind of treatment you probably shouldn't do too much.
Cheers, James.

Hi Improvement, thanks for your reply, I ended up finding a link to the old ncr tutorial that was made by Ben so I've been going ahead with that and just kind of experimenting on myself, the technique seems pretty straight forward - choose which side and which turbinate insert finger cot inflate building pressure until you feel movement or whatever and the balloon ends up inflating into the back of the throat at which point you deflate and avoid breathing the balloon in and choking, I guess it takes a leap of faith to keep inflating initially because it feels like you might break something! 😬  One thing I am unsure about though apart from the obvious question of how actual ncr practitioners determine which side and turbinate to treat is that Ben mentions that ncr practitioners stack 1-3 finger cots on top of each other and inflate with a lot of force, do you know or anyone else reading this know what he means by "stacking" finger cots on top of each other? All I can think of is if you literally stack them up but this would require multiple sphygmomanometers to squeeze at the same time right? Or does he just mean to insert the finger cots inside each other to make it thicker? I don't really use skype so much but if you do have any juicy tidbits of info including the aforementioned question you could send me a pm perhaps? It would be much appreciated 😊 thanks again for your reply. Cheers, james
