Cranial Restructuring / Re: Before and After
« on: July 03, 2017, 07:01:09 am »
I found the link in a comment on one of CPS posts about shortening the face, here are the comments:
"While I can appreciate that much of what you say regarding beauty is true, your solutions leave much to be desired. Here is some information for you. My husband is an oral surgeon so he is very educated on the topic. Interestingly, Tad therapy is available now for shortening of the midface. It is cutting-edge as patients would usually need maxillary impaction surgery to shorten the midface. Now, steel posts called TADS are attached inside the mouth in the gum area above the teeth, strong rubber bands are attached and the teeth are pulled upward as the bone resorbs. It is truly amazing because it is much less invasive than having jaw surgery. As the teeth go up, the midface shortens but inevitably the patient then needs a liplift. If you are interested, I can send you a scientific study with pictures that show the results.
"For those of you interested in TAD therapy for vertical maxillary excess, I have listed several links. I am sorry for taking so long but I just visited this site again. I am receiving TAD therapy from Dr. Howard Henry in Scottsdale, AZ. He has move my teeth, jaw and alveolar process back at least 3 mm. Now, he is moving my teeth up. This is truly amazing and it works"
And this was one of the links. It looks like they usually do this for patients with severe issues and before surgery, but obviously this link shows its effectiveness without surgery. Interesting that she still looks good without all her teeth as she has had extractions before surgery; perhaps it's not about having all your teeth, it's more about when the face is a certain height and then you take away some of the teeth, the face kind of crumples in on itself. This method has made sure her face has come forward (making it look shorter, wider and better) rather than the face developing down as the spaces close.
I wonder if this method would work on people without extractions? It just seems like a more scientific version of facepulling to me, with the affect being 24/7 and inside the mouth instead of outside. And how would Mike Mew react if you went to him asking for it; he seems to be one of few who is open to trying to methods and is testing methods currently. No doubt he would be impressed with the before and afters.

Check out her before and after, think it's some of the most solid visual evidence I've seen so far. And that's despite having teeth removed. Perhaps it's not about having all your teeth, maybe it's about the forward development? Because she has had extractions but still has amazing results from what looks like very long term (over 2 years) treatment. I think the treatment is basically what facepulling does but with screws instead. Thoughts?

Cranial Restructuring / Re: New blog- what do we want to read?
« on: June 19, 2017, 02:52:21 am »
MeltedFace and Progress, thank you both for your replies, they're very helpful.
I like the idea for both, as I know that for me one of the most difficult parts of this has been reading information and testimonials that are scattered across the internet; searching for new information or even methods that include evidence that they work is very time consuming. I would like to be on the same level as CP in that if you say to someone "I've got TMJ" or "I need palate expansion" and they are new to the concept you can show them my blog as a reliable source of information, but also with new theories for those already in the know.
Progress, I love what you've written because that's what I envisioned when I thought of this blog. I really wanted a self improvement blog, but that's a very broad term and can involve looks, health, life in general and more, and I didn't really think it would work because it was so vague, but now I'm thinking it will work exactly for that reason. For example people like you guys might visit to read about an update on palate expansion, and then be interested in a post about psychological well being and dealing with knowing you face doesn't look as it should currently (something I am really struggling with). I'm currently in contact with a girl who stopped using shampoo and unnatural products and made drastic diet changes to cure her IBS- no doubt she'd be interested in reading how a palate that is too narrow can cause pain and headaches.
Anyone else feel free to give me advice or your thoughts, and I will be keeping people updated!

Cranial Restructuring / New blog- what do we want to read?
« on: June 17, 2017, 06:25:48 am »
Hey guys, so I've started my blog- it's not fully functional yet but I will put the link in here when it is.
It's basically a improving your looks blog, including facial remodelling, skin, hair. It's based on that I had awful hair and managed to fix it using unconventional methods, and also what I've learned about facial remodelling and my progress. I will be adding to it as I learn more. I know not all of you will be interested in the different topics so I'll just be posting about the facial remodelling in here.
Claiming power seems to have given up slightly, but for a while his website was all I had for research and learning about this process, so I want to continue that and provide more information for people.
Question- what do people want to read about mostly? My progress or articles I've found, etc? Also I'm going to be thorough with providing visual evidence as that's seriously lacking in this community I find.
Thanks for the support!

Cranial Restructuring / Re: Ineresting Pictures
« on: April 28, 2017, 12:23:53 pm »
Skull I understand, no disputing she looks better in the second picture though, so obviously the face pulling has worked!
Slamo28 I've looked into the Crane and the neck brace seems real bulky, I was hoping to wear any face pulling appliance overnight but I doubt I'd be able to with that. I know the guy on facpulling.com has made his own but I'm not sure if I have to skills for that.
I see what you mean about the mandible as well, I think she should have carried on face pulling with something that didnt push the lower jaw and perhaps at a more forward angle, as this would have fixed the gummy smile which is a sign of a recessed maxilla I believe?
I'm hoping to book an assessment with an orthodontist in these next coming months to begin treatment.. I'm not 100% sure my reading is accurate but my interior molar width is 30mm which I believe is small considering I have 28 teeth?
Lastly, what appliance do we think is more effective? CP got results using a bulky acrylic palate expander, and I already have one of those (but not yet a treatment plan), but I like the idea of the ALF because it's constant and can be paired with myofunctional therapy which is better in the long run. I'm considering using ALF to expand then once expanded have braces (maybe damon for even more axpansion?) and facepull whilst having braces with my palate expandre, or even whilst wearing the ALF.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sYJBkX9FTLQ video of results with homeoblock
Any advice would be great guys :)

Slamo28 thanks for that post, I've been reading about doing the chin tuck but I've literally just been pushing my chin into my neck like when you're  trying to give yourself a double chin so thanks for clearing that up!
Looking at the pictures, in particular the one where the girl has used reverse pull headgear, there's obvious expansion of the palate (presumably as it has been pulled forward for a great amount of time as I'm aware the woman just wore braces with the headgear attached). If you see the original post on facepulling.com, you can see that actually her face as come "up" a bit, and looks like rather than her face being as flat and her chin appearing to sticking out as much the cheekbones stand out more, making the chin seems to stick out less.
Also interested in that Mike Mew regularly talks about the correct lip seal and and that people who close their mouths seem more attractive, but she definitely seems more attractive in the second image where her mouth is open and her top lip comes "up" with the corner of her lips coming down if you understand where I'm coming from?
After seeing the images I'm keen to do facepulling like she has done with a reverse pull mask over a long period of time, but using my palate expander as I don't have braces. I think this may work to my advantage as it means it wont be pulling my teeth forwards but my whole palate instead, and if the theories are correct and as the palate comes forward it expands, perhaps if my palate is pulled forward gradually it will expand also? Or maybe I can expand and pull at the same time gradually. My main worry is that my face is not symmetrical, as my palate is too small and is dropped and set back on one side. Any thoughts?

Hi Selina,

That's really interestign and something I could definitely afford, perhaps even if I had that I wouldn't need to save up for the ALF appliance. Where are you having this treatment done? And do you have anymore details about what it involves etc?

Ah sorry I wasn't very clear- I meant myofunctional therapy (I.e the appliance and exercises etc) but just done by buying an appliance to encourage tongue on the roof of the mouth and then YouTube for the exercises. Just wanted to know if people thought this was worth the effort until I can afford professional help, such as the ALF combined with professional myofunctional therapy.

Are we all in agreement that mewing and adopting correct oral posture along with swallowing exercises will help with asymmetry and developing the face? I've still got my sights set on getting the ALF and getting checked for tongue tie but until I can afford it I'm going to get an appliance to encourage the correct oral posture, if we agree mewing and correcting oral posture works?

Struggled to watch the videos of the noses being put back into place, really freaked me out!
I clicked on the link and usually that procedure is done very soon after having your nose broken, so it might not work if you've had a broken nose a long time. Having said that, it might be worth a try anyway.
I have seen a photograph (only 1 positive review though so might not be worth getting your hopes up) posted on here from someone who used nasofix or something similar for a number of months and the results are pretty good, so that might be worth looking at.
http://breakthematrix.createaforum.com/index.php?action=profile;area=showposts;u=16 scroll through the link and you should be able to see the before and after.

Cranial Restructuring / Re: Facepulling effect of head posture
« on: January 31, 2017, 03:21:53 pm »
Interesting post, I find that my posture causes my neck comes forward slightly and therefore my head. When I concentrate on tucking my chin in my neck straightens and my head seems to be in the right place... it's also a lot easier for my tongue to rest on the upper palate this way. Does anybody else find this?

Thanks for the reply, I've checked out his videos before and they're really informative; seems to be the only person not including CP who provides well documented before and after images.
Definitely agree that NCR and facepulling need more solid proof before it can be practiced as a normality such as braces, but now even Mike Mew is looking into facepulling and asking people to come forth with ideas. Exciting stuff!

Cranial Restructuring / Best appliance?
« on: January 21, 2017, 02:11:46 pm »
So hopefully by this summer I will have saved enough money for professional help. Question is what is the best appliance?
I'm leaning towards the ALF as everyone who has had it said its effective (although there only a few). Then followed by Damon braces to straighten the teeth (as these cause further expansion). I have no previous extractions just TMJ on one side.
Bare in mind I also have a palate expander I ordered online that works so I can use that alongside the ALF possibly with the security of knowing if anything goes wrong I have a professional helping me.

Betterbytheday, does that mean AI helps you grow taller? I've finished growing and would like to be a few inches taller. I don't know much about supplements so any insight would be greatly appreciated.

QuantamLookMaxer, not so much that it didn't work it's just my progress has slowed down. Also I've realised I have a tongue tie, so any results I do have will probably revert unless I get my tongue tie sorted. So I definitely need professional intervention too. I'm back to wearing my palate expander however; figured I'll be getting professional help within the next few years so I may as well do as much as I can by myself now.
