The problem your having am guessing sounds like your cots for you are too large, its difficult without actually seeing you perform it, if your cots are too large or long for your turbinates then the cot will as u say just explode down the throat and mak you gag because there too long/large, i use large for me which works perfectly, i cant stress enough thou that once the correct size cot is sought then its simply a matter of aligning the cot all way through the nostril n very very rapidly squeezing the pump and cot will explode to the upper throat/Spheniod area and youll get the release n cracks, the cot wont burst because youve stacked 3 cots ontop of each other the pressure can only go one way then, your bone sutures n Spheniod.

Yes it is very possible. I will experiment with different sizes and see how it goes.

Well, it didn't really change anything. The balloon still pops out of the turbinate and dives straight into the throat without properly whacking the sphenoid along the way. I need to try some different cots and see if the problem persists.

Alright, thanks. I will have to try that later today.

By explode i mean metaphorically as in u build up enough pressure quickly on the turbinate that the cot literally shoots out into the top/back of the throat and therefore smacks the Sphenoid, this isnt a pleasant experience and can be frightening as u often will think that the Cot is going to literally explode and rip your nasal area apart with the sudden n rapid pressure build up which of course is nonsense, but that illustrates your doing it correctly and the pressured Cot will go the only way it can, out into the back of the throat, stack 3 large cots on top of each other and then try it, put it in place in the turbinate right along its length right to the start of the back of the throat n then rapidly pump the valve and dont stop until the cot slams into the throat, usually 3rd or 4th rapid squeeze, your teeth will tangle after that, mine always do, the reason ur not getting the cracks is prob because your doin it too often, once i get cracks or release ill back off from treatment for at least 2 mths to let my face settle down, that way itll b settled in its slightly new position to be '****' or altered again.

Rouby, self NCR does work and works really well, i know this because i do it myself and ive have had the cracking sound a few times, last week in fact, once youve heard the cracking after a session your structure should then shift slightly accordingly, you should ( in my opinion ) leave it a least a mth or 2 before attempting again, let ur structure alter n settle before attempting again etc, i find it best to use 2/3 meduim/large cots stackd on top of one another and place them in the nostril right the way through to the back of throat and once in place squeeze the pump hard n fast a few times, that shud b enuf to create the pressure needed to induce the cracks, u build up the pressure quickly whilst in the nostril before it explodes in the throat etc youll also get teeth tingling straight after.

Where exactly in your face do you experience/hear this cracking sound? The first couple of times I performed NCR, merely inflating inside the turbinates resulted in plenty of interesting noises that sounded like tension or pressure being released around the nasal cavities, but those sounds have not reappeared since then, even after learning to actually hit the sphenoid. I've never experienced any teeth tingling either, which makes me think I've just been wasting time with an inadequate technique these past few months.

Also, just making sure, by "explode in the throat" do you mean that the balloons themselves explode under the pressure, or that they metaphorically explode from inside the turbinates into the upper throat & sphenoid area with great force?

Perhaps it is time to man up and use two balloons stacked on top of each other instead of just one.

Someone should really demonstrate how to get this done.

NCR practitioners do it so precisely (I say from experience) but self NCR does not make the cracking sound I hear or feel from the NCR practitioners.

We need a messiah to help us all with this already.

If any of us had the long travelling time and 50,000 dollars those NCR practitioners would realistically charge us over hundreds of balloon inflation then we probably wouldn't be having those facial deformities to begin with.

For the last few weeks I've been unable to succeed in self NCR. I can inflate the balloon in my throat to the point of exploding without achieving any significant pressure towards the sphenoid bone. I've tried using balloons of different sizes, guiding the balloon towards the sphenoid with posterior tongue, inflating inside the turbinates and letting the pressure build up shoot the balloon into the upper throat. Nothing has helped. In the past I always got both ears to click very easily using moderate pressure.

Anyone have any idea why? My maxilla is still setback and in asymmetrically tilted position. I've hardly achieved any improvement so there should still be plenty of gains to be made.
