If you have had retractive orthodontics (you said you had braces twice) you can try face pulling along with self NCR. Have you had extractions? You need to be sure your maxillla is actually repressed and pushed back. If it is facepulling is definitely recommended. The more severe the maxilla being repressed back the more force you can use. If your maxilla is normal you need to be extremely gentle to stimulate forward growth.

Retractive orthodontics damaging your face means you can use facepulling to really push your upper jaw forward as it was meant to be there in the first place it was just pushed back (suppressed).

Please be careful this whole concept and this forum is not all fairies and unicorns. I damaged my face badly from listening to some bad advice before I started to research and spend time knowing what works best for me. Again everyone's different please do your research!

The best thing that works for everyone and will guarantee safe improvement is practicing your oral posture / tongue to the palate. Anyone can do it and it will give nice slow changes over time.
Hope this helps

Hi! I am insanely happy I found this forum!!
Question.. has anyone tried the paperclip rubber and method with Damon braces?

Since this is the second time I have had braces I'm pretty paranoid it could mess something up.
