Why this forum so dead?
« on: November 05, 2015, 09:49:50 am »
I fell like many people are starting to realize the benefits of facepulling, ncr and the effects of modern dentistry on the face and health of TMJ. However this is no one consolidated group/forum for this. It's split between this forum, a Facebook group devoted to TMJ (which has Mike Mew and John Mew contributing) and also some discussions on the SH forums. Why can't we start a Reddit subreddit or something where we try to get everyone to contribute and post?

I think a lot of people are skeptical about it, since it does not fit the sort of thinking a lot of people have . You need be able to think outside the box (or possibly just experience) in other fields, to come to the realization that a thing like this might work, and might be save or even good for you. I think it does not get a lot of attention because let's be honest; How on earth should you know a thing like this even exists? I can not even remember how I found out about it.  Only realizing other things are opposite of what I expected, made me open to an idea like this.

- Most people have never heard about it at all
- If general type of  people hear about it , it sounds too strange to be true

I'm really not sure if there are many people reading this, who do not post on the forum. If you are such a person, please let us know you're here too. It might make it easier to create a community

I think the same as Ryan. Also, I have read one post on reddit about this on r/dentistry and the whole comunity gave him ****. Profesionals, dentists, doctors are for the most part (uneducated) and arrogant when it comes to their practice. Also read the thread that has  been posted here before yours. The guy thinks the procedure is unsafe, many people think that and avoid that. Also to change something like this, takes massive action. I even had to take massive action to get my "retainer" for Face Pulling and I had to do it all by myself without support. Even the woman from the lab wanted to discourage me that the procedure does not work (she apparently knew about it because many people contacted her on it). There is only one option. Let them find it themselves and let people like Mike Mew do their thing and hope the word spreads over time.
