Alternative facepulling devices?
« on: May 17, 2016, 07:32:26 pm »
I read on another forum that a good way to facepull is by using a belt. Where you clenching on it with your molars and pulling forward, upward, and outward. Do you guys think that this method would be as effective or would it cause damage? I've tried it a few times and I could feel my jaw creaking/shifting.

I also read that you don't want to put pressure on your teeth if you're trying to move the maxilla because you're going to move your teeth before you movie anything else. So I've also tried pushing with my thumbs on the hard palate.
I think I've made some decent progress with my chin, but are these methods as good as the other common face pulling methods? What do you think of my methods?

Hi monarch,

I tried as well the regular method of facepulling, with the hockey helmet(actually another mask that i changed into that design) , as well recently the belt method. I believe they both work on me. I'm not sure which one is more effective. I used to do the belt method with somewhat less strength before, but recently I switched to using alot of strength on it. That seems to improve the speed of transformation to me. I use my back molars, so I'm pretty sur the teeth are not moving individually, since the back molars simply *can* not move (forward) without pushing the other teeth all forward. This might be different if you miss teeth in front of your back molals that you are using. My canthal tilt is more positive, my face is wider, my eyebrows lower, more cheekbones, wider jaws...etc from using both methods. (not at the same time) .

I find that after face pulling and chewing gum my profile looks much better. Like a more square jaw, a bit shorter face, and a straighter nose. However, after a while the results fade away. How do I keep my bone in position after I pull my maxilla?

That's weird... the results go back huh?

I guess it's just consistency, if you permanent, and better results, you'll have to be way more consistent for a longer period of time, if you actually want your bones to change shape and not go back.

It takes work and patience, around probably a minimum of 1-2 years to cement Bone Structural Change Results.

Also Neuro-Cranial Restructuring could help your results come quicker, and better.

Also remember Perfect Oral Posture, and Neck Posture.

After a week of consistency I think I'm seeing results that stay. What do you mean by proper neck posture, I know I have proper oral posture. Am I supposed to have my chin tucked for good neck posture?

I'm not 100% Knowledgeable on this subject, but overall Good Posture, especially Neck Posture in Today's world with everyone sitting down looking down on their self phones, is amazing and important for overall health.

It optimizes the function of the nervous system, and entire body.

It helps with Hormones, as well as Body and Skull Symmetry, and helps promote better Facial Growth and development from what I've heard Mike Mew Talk about, as well as many others.

Chin Tucked is ideal, but isn't practical for extended periods of times, just try to maintain a Balanced, Straight, Up Right, Natural Posture, and if you slacking off, always correct yourself.

If you have these Postural Problems, continued practice, as well as a Chiropractic/Osteopath, Mewing, NCR, Face Pulling, and Exercise, should improve and fix these problems over time, resulting in even, better  and Quicker Results after breaking through a Plateau.

You could look up on YouTube Proper Posture, and Corrective Posture Exercises, Elliott Hulse has many good ones. There's also something called the Starecta method that relates to adjusting and Correcting the spinal and nervous system to optimal shape and function yourself, but I'm not too familiar with it.
