I'm Currently I'm using a belt for face-pulling, and I've been the " classic" method of the hockey mask before. I get results from both. I'm not sure which one gives more results, since somehow I get so used to my new look that I almost forgot what my starting position was half a year ago! I have made pictures, but these changes are things that are not always seen so easily in pictures.
The last few days i seem to get more results with a slightly altered version of belt-facepulling. What I do is , while biting on the belt, pull repeatedly upwards, forward, upward forward etc...Like 10 times or so..Pretty much as hard as I can can. With each pull, I hear the cracking sound (cracking sound is good)...and after i've done this, I put my thumb in my mouth and push upwards with power. Then i hear alot of cracking sounds too. After i've pushed upwards in my mouth for a few seconds, pushing upwards does no longer give the cracking sound. This makes me assume that the maxilla is not loose anymore, but like 'fully connected' again into a stable position. The interesting thing I find about this sort of cracking sound, is that it really does not give any sensation of pain whatsoever (I tell this for those who think such sound may be a bad indicator)
When I just pull upwards with my thumb in my mouth, without loosening up the maxilla with the belt, there is not much cracking sound at all. I think because the maxilla is not loose at that moment, its harder to re position it. This really might be the key to re-positioning the maxilla. I use this method like 5-10 times a day
I'm curious if others also will experience more results with this method, so feel free to try..!
Greets,
Ryan
