Thanks Ryan, that is an interesting technique that I'll have to try. Currently I use my thumbs to do it and my jaw feels a little bit loose more afterwards but I rarely get the cracking sound. I'll definitely try your technique to loosen up my maxilla before I use my thumbs. Do you sometimes notice the next morning that your jaw starts to feel a little right and starts crackling? I don't if this is something to be concerned about, if I'm doing something wrong, or my tmj acting up?
