Hi yes, just tongue pressing - I'm trying hard again after slacking for a couple of weeks :)

Hey! Okay, it was a two hour long appointment and amazing. The dentist is not Orthotropic based, and does practice traditional, but does understand many important issues regarding palette, airway, and teeth - hence the first patient appointment is two hours long (no cleaning!)

We (forum here and elsewhere) theorized that I:

- Have asymmetry

- Narrow palette

Those are both pretty correct! My skull's airway is narrowed at the front and not too much at the back (zooming into tissue and seeing it is bizarre!)

My palette width is 31.25"

The skull? My entire skull is asymmetrical... it looks a little twisted and happened only in past five years.

When I told this dentist about my procedures (removed k-9, wisdom extraction, braces full for 4.5 years) a look of pity and sighing came out - he knew it wasn't the course he probably would have taken...

We are focusing on oral health, and happily my recession actually improved! I use the Bass toothbrush and oil from Orawelness - it's a clove mix with other things...

He's concerned to widen my palette with a device, because as he's said I've had "a lot of modification"... but he understands.

Afer hearing Dr. Mew on the Q&A, I'm more motivated than ever to just keep pushing up (just keep pushing, just keep pushing) and get a "chewie" - because I do have TMJ, spinal problems, headaches, etc...

He does think maybe it isn't Wild to wonder if my asymmetry is shifting the entire rest of the body - because NO one knows why at my age I've got spinal problems (Degenerative Disc Disease and Bulging Disc) without any accident ever occurring....

Just wanted to give you an update. If you live in Oregon / Washington the dentists name is Dr. Blodgett 🙂

Sorry, I barely see the difference. For example the arches of your eyebrows are different and you also look like you slept better on the other photo. But those differences are not precise and I see it on my own pictures with one day distance. Anyway, you look slightly better at least and maybe this subtle difference is from tongue posture, maybe not.

It's super slight, but not drastic. As someone who needs to push harder and is way out of puberty, it shows how minute things happen by take a lot of time.

I would maybe do the tubes u less you want a major workout - it's cheap if it makes a difference, but I can't personally use mine

Mastic is what I have, but it becomes more soft Han the falim over time with chewing. The Falim almost has this plasticy resistance feeling, and if you doubled it up you'd get a lot of toughness I think. Aside from that, you might want to peek at the Jawzercise that I bought. I can't even use mine because my jaws are too weak!

For gum, Falim Mint on Amazon (for pp pieces for 8$) is great! I just got it today and it's way easier and better tasting than mastic, not to mention cheaper and faster to arrive.

Cranial Restructuring / Small dents in sides of face? Cheekbones?
« on: July 29, 2017, 11:49:08 am »
Quick question... do the cheekbones give little dents - shadows to the sides of the face? They don't even photograph they are so subtle... but is that maybe the maxilla coming forward a little???

So now we know that mr asdfasdf123 was a scammer... is there someone else who can prove (maybe with photos) that the "online expander" works? I am on my way to build the Mew Vector(modified RAMPA system by yashusi mitani patente) and that is the last part i needed and now I am without proofs. If everything works I will post about my version of mew vector.

Not sure myself, but I swear we had other people on here use it. That person was pretty new on yet forum and maybe search across the other blogs and things too.

Orthotropics is an entire way of approaching proper oral posture - and Dr. Mew uses a device that has these little numbs which train children to not open their mouths or it pokes them kinda (not in a bad way lol) - I would watch Mike Mew and Orthotropics on YouTube because they have a lot of content about children and what parents should do

Okay anyone that's known my story probably won't be shocked knowing I'm 1) been through dental HELL 2) low income - like getting out of homelessness and living in a trailer...

So going to any dentist seemed impossible that "got" this stuff. But I googled a natural dentist, and found Dr. Bloggett in Portland, OR.

Here's some highlights from the conversation.

- 149.00 initial appointment and 41.00 a month (they do their own office insurance plan with annual exams)
- 2 hour consultation to holistically evauate entire body, mouth, etc.
- Use of state of the art machines, not x-rays, no mercury, etc.

The receptionist knew all about Orthotropics, appliances, and sounded so "yes, of course you know what's up" about all of it. Their all about holistically helping!

My appointment is in 2 months, and I am going to let you guys know my evaluation, experience, etc. but if anyone is local I highly recommend giving them a call to see if it's helpful!
