I was a bit impulsive a few months ago. I started face pulling with my thumbs. About 25 minutes a day. I did this for three months and realized I needed to stop. There came to a point where I realized my face was thinning out too much and figured I probably needed expansion before I go on face-pulling. I also realized my jaw started to make noises when moved, and was definitely in a worse position than before. I have a cross-bite. Is this the reason why this may have happened? Should I have had expansion done in conjunction?
If anyone has any ideas, please share, as I am pretty ignorant when it comes to this stuff.
