Hey! Welcome!

About treating one side. Before my jaws went fubar, I had more pain in my right jaw and I thought that my right side was the problem. My dentist told me that sometimes the problem isn't where the pain is amd that he thought the other side may be more problematic. I know he's right because now that things are starting to settle, the left side of the jaw still has a tendency to "go out". My left sides' eye is also lower than the right side. I therefore assume that it's the more problematic and underdeveloped side. I've recenly started treating it by itself for 5-10 min before doing both with the hockey helmet to see if I can make a difference. It should be possible to correct/smooth things out but I'm not certain. Time and experience will tell. Note that I'm working with a dentist who's monitoring my progress (without knowing about the hockey mask yet).

I also have acne problems or folliculitis of the scalp. Do you have any tips on diet and/or supplements? I'm thinking non antibiotics (since I've tried that and it dosen't help).

Day One 1.10.14

With the arrival of my bulb treatment commences!

Attaching the finger cot was sort of a pain initially but I got the hang of it. I was pumping it full of air and it would deflate immediately and I was confused. Then I realized you have to close the valve before you pump. Doh! When I pump the finger cot I noticed the tip balloons out way more than the rest of the body. Is this why this can gag some people once this bulbous part enters the upper throat?

I used to be allergic to many things and I didn't like the idea of using the LATEX finger cots. Btw, the finger cots at rite-aid are not sold in bulk boxes, but packs of like 20 for about 6 dollars. This was kind of expensive especially since some of those cots will be too small or large and hence not useful.

Instead I bought a box of nitrile gloves. I cut off the middle finger and used it. I pumped it full of air and saw that the expansion was very uniform. No bulbous head. I wonder if this is good or bad? I mean, a more uniform expansion means potentially hurting the turbines more right?

Anyway, I proceeded to use a q-tip end and snaked it into my right lower turbine. I inflated and while I didn't really feel much in the back of my upper throat area I did hear some crunching. Hmm. Similar sound to when you do the Eustachian Valsava maneuver (shout out to padi divers!). I didn't feel the pressure or any sensation traveling across my face to the other side so I am unsure if this is because I am doing the procedure incorrectly (stuck in turbine) or ...?

I treated all of my turbines on both sides. My left side one gave me a bit of an earache. I was afraid if I used more pressure I would hurt my ear (that's how it felt.) I'll see how it goes today.

By the way, I am wondering what treating the less developed or "weaker" side of the face is. I look in the mirror and see that my left eye is lower than my right. Does this mean my left side is weaker? I should treat my left side exclusively to see if I can balance this? Interestingly, I have an uneven forehead wrinkling. My left side has aone horizontally, while my right side has two. But I have more skin issues on my left side of the face than right. I wonder if this can be corrected through NCR... I didn't have the wrinkling as a young child. The wrinkling is there because of the wierd underlying uneven denting of the bone of my forehead. since there are no suture near the forehead maybe this cannot be correctly via NCR... we shall see.

Tonight I will repeat the same treatment from yesterday. I have not noticed any changes in my appearance but I did feel a bit stranger last night afterwards and had a light teeth tingling.

Time for my own introduction.

I am a late twenties Asian American male. My quest for health began since several several years ago when I suffered severe depression. I hit rock bottom and came back from the verge of death. Over a few years I recovered using nutrition and lifestyle changes. Mentally I came back stronger and more focused than my predepression days. Fortunately or unfortunately I developed a fairly severe form of acne and other strange skin problems. This drove me to search for cure by researching all manners pertaining to health. Especially diet. Up until half of my college days I ate total crap, and had been put on a mountain-load of poisonous antidepressants, it was no wonder I crashed the way I did. In addition, I had severe dental deformities that were "corrected" by a orthodontist who pulled 4 teeth out and used braces to ultimately shrink my palate from its genetic potential. Probably relating to my overall lifestyle I developed pretty bad myopia, which I still have to this day.

Today, my skin problems are not AS bad as in the past. I do have many scars on my face and body but they are healing. Compared to my earlier days when I self-diagnosed myself as a pre-diabetic I have come very very far. Chronic disease is a puzzle that continually needs to be worked on before you can solve it. My puzzle is fairly complete today. But improving my own health has become a hobby of mine. And really, why shouldn't it be every person's hobby? Investing in your own health (as well as others) pays the greatest dividends in life.

In the midst of my continual quest for ultimate health, I came across NCR and its related subjects through Plato's website. I then also found this forum and also Ben's site. After taking in the material and couple with my readings of Weston Price I became more aware of peoples faces. The architecture and symmetry were something I had not paid attention to before. I am amazed at how the face really reflects a person's health status. Beautiful faces are a reflection of great health. I noticed my own asymmetries in my own face for the first time. Or maybe I knew of it all along but was unconsciously ignoring it. Whatever the case, I plan to dive head first into this new world of cranial restructuring. I want to see if it can improve my facial symmetry and lead me to a better hormonal pattern. Maybe this will this lead to improvements in my skin condition? I want to see if this modality can live up to the claims it makes. I want to see if I can apply to to other people eventually to make a difference in their health. Improving the health of other people is a passion for me and I am applying to medical school.

The internet is a wondrous place to communicate with other people in a way we cannot physically. In person I am a very open communicator. That being said, I have left out many details about my background for my own protection. I may or may not post censored pictures of myself as progress reports.

Excited to meet others who are on a similar journey navigating the world of NCR, FP, and palate expansion!

Very good to hear! Did you also order the finger cots online? Make sure it's the right size/length as those I bought we're a bit shorter than what I needed to get to the 'open space' behind the turbinates

While I am waiting for my materials for self NCR to arrive, I have started to explore the nasal passages between the turbinates using a Q-tip. The top and bottom passages were simple to get into. The middle I am having trouble getting. How do I know its the middle one? By feeling? The top passage caused me to sneeze non-stop. But then I tried the top passage on the other side and it was fine. Weird.

Hello all, my name is Ardens. I am in my late 20s and live in NYC. This will be my journal into cranial restructuring. I plan to post my brief bio shortly.
I started the Shoelace method FP yesterday, New Years Day.  (This will make it easy for me to track how long I have been doing what!  ;D )I am waiting for my materials to arrive for self NCR also.
Happy New Year!
