I did something pretty crazy to get my Schwarz. PM me if you want to know more.
Or, Plato talks about this German company that can make appliances for you:

Maybe try them? If you do, please tell us how things went.

Bumping this if you don't mind because I have the exact same questions. It would be great if we could share our different approaches and techniques.

I was wondering if there is something you could practice with, like a pipe cleaner minus the wire part, so you know how far back to go. I haven't been able to think of anything except those things they use at the nose doctor, but I couldn't find them on eBay. ;)

Maybe some xylocaine/lidocaine will help because I feel some pretty intense pain back there? (Of course, not numbing the gag reflex as that would be dangerous.)

Hi, I'm new in the forum. I got access to the self-treatment protocol a month ago, and been using it diligently. But I'm confused with some aspects of the treatment, and I hope some of you can answer some of these questions

1) Is there an approximate "correct" length of the finger cot?
2) How do you make sure the finger cot inflates in the end, not the bottom? That happens to me and I don't know how to fix it, since to contact the sphenoid bone it has to inflate in the end/tip
3) How do you know you've reached, quoting Ben, the "open space" behind the turbinates. Also he talks about getting the balloon straightened and in place, (with little inflations and twisting the q-tip) , what's your method to achieve that? (It tends to happen that when I take out the q-tip, the balloon comes out with it)

any other details or info you can share would be great. I'm learning this technique and I've seen some results but I know I'm not applying it fully yet. Thank you all.
